Leave was granted to the Allegany county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to authorize the Trustees of the Almshouse
for Allegany county to provide homes for children under their
charge by binding them out under indentures of apprentice-
ship.
On motion of Mr. Dawson,
Leave was granted to the Caroline delegation and Mr.
Kemp, to introduce a bill to repeal chapter 190, of the Acts
of 1872, and to repeal sections 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 9, 10,
and 11, of Article 51 of Code of Public General Laws, title,
"Fish and Fisheries," sub tittle, "Head of the Bay" and to
re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Fenton,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City delegation to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act enti-
tled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Bal-
timore to issue bonds of the City of Baltimore to an amount
not exceeding $2,500,000, for the purpose of providing means
for the improvement of Jones' Falls, &c., &c.
On motion of Mr, Harig,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
Introduce a bill to give the sanction of the Legislature to the
devise and bequest of Henry Butler, to the Trustees of the
African Methodist Episcopal Ebenezer Church, of the City of
Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Latchford,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to have all executions conducted pri-
vately.
On motion of Mr. Fenton,
Eeave was granted to the Baltimore City delegation to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 69 of the Act
of Assembly of 1864, and the section therein provided, to be
added to the levying of direct tax by the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, and to re-enact the said sections with
amendments.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City delegation to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to fund the floating debt of the City of
