Baltimore, as authorized or existing on the 31st day of Octo-
ber, 1873, to an amount not exceeding $2,000,000, (two
million dollars.)

Mr. Seth, Chairman of a Select Committee, submitted the
following :

REPORT.

The Committee upon Coat-Room beg leave to report that
they deem it impracticable to disfigure the walls of the House
with hooks, and ask to be relieved from further duty.

Which was adopted and the Committee discharged.

The bill entitled an Act granting the assent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to a legacy granted to Trinity Protes-
tant Episcopal Church, in the City of Baltimore, by John H.
Hugg, late of said city, deceased,

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 323 and 324., of
Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws for Frederick
county, and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

A bill entitled an Act authorizing and directing the State
Librarian to furnish from the State Library, for the use of the
Circuit Court for Garrett county, a full set of the decisions of
the Court of Appeals, and of the Acts of Assembly and other
books,

Being upon a second reading, Mr. Turner, of Baltimore
county, moved that the further consideration thereof be post-
poned, and the bill recommitted.

Decided in the negative.

The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled a supplement to the Act to incorporate
the Hannah More Academy, of Baltimore county, passed at
December session, 1839, chapter 189,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
