Laws for Somerset county, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

On motion of Mr. Koons,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to incorporate the Mechanicstown Town Hall
Company in the town of Mechanicstown, Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. Seth,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill to repeal an Act
passed at the January session, 1872, chapter 193, entitled an
Act to fix a standard for the measurement of oysters in the
shell, in the City of Baltimore, and Crisfield, in Somerset
county.

On motion of Mr. Watkins,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Washington Grove Camp-
Meeting Association of the District of Columbia and Mary-
land.

On motion of Mr. Keech,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill to repeal sections 219, 220, 221, 222, 223, 224,
225, 226, 227, 228, 229, 230, 231, 232, 233, 234 and 235 of
article 3, of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore county., title
"Roads," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Lancaster,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to extend the jurisdiction of Justices of the
Peace.

On motion of Mr. Sudler,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill to protect terrapin
eggs in Somerset county.

On motion of Mr. Nicodemus,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to prohibit the Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Frederick county from issuing license to
venders of spirituous or fermented liquors within two and
a-half miles of Brook Hill Meeting House, Frederick
county.

On motion of Mr. Lancaster,
Leave was granted to the Charles county delegation and
