to the Committee on Agriculture, was reconsidered, and said
petition referred to the Committee on Corporations.

Mr. Greenfield submitted the following order:

Ordered, That when the House adjourn to-day, it stand
adjouned until Monday next, at 12 o'clock. H.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Riley submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the usual number of copies of the Journal
of the House and Senate be furnished to each member.

Which was adopted.

Mr, Seth submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the Librarian furnish each member of this
House with paper-cutter and eraser.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Gill submitted the following order;

Ordered, that each member be responsible for the copy of
the Constitution furnished him, and that he shall return the
same to the Library at the close of the session.

Which was rejected.

Mr. Fletchall sumbmitted the following order:

Ordered, That the Rev. J. P. Hall be paid fifty dollars for
ten days services as Chaplain to this House.

Which was adopted.

Mr, Brown submitted the following order:

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Mr. Galt
is absent from his seat in the House to-day on important
Business.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. McCosker,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Manufactures to
introduce a bill to regulate the manufacture and sale of illu-
minating oils in the City of Baltimore.

On motion of Mr. Koons,

Leave was granted to the Frederick county delegation to
introduce a bill to authorize, require and direct the County
Commissioners of Frederick county to levy a sum of money
to erect a new jail-house for said county.

On motion of Mr. Duer,
