On motion of Mr. Koons,

Leave was granted to the Frederick county delegation to
introduce a bill repealing the Act of 1872, chapter 320, enti-
tled an Act for the protection of black bass and other fish in
the Monocacy River and its tributaries, within the limits of
Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. Nicodemus,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to prohibit the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Frederick county irom issuing license to
venders of spirituous or fermented liquors within three miles
of post-office at Hansonville, Frederick county,

On motion of Mr. Greenfield,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Fire Insur-
ance Salvage Corps of the City of Baltimore.

On motion of Mr. Bird,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Bird, Turner and Buchanan,
to introduce a bill to provide for the removal of gates from
the public roads of Calvert county.

On motion of Mr. Turner, of Calvert,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Turner, Bird and Stake, to
report a bill relating to the compensation of the Commis-
sioners of the Commissioners' Court of Calvert county.

On motion of Mr. Groome,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill to repeal chapter 347 of the Acts of 1872, repeal-
ing sections from 141 to 164 of Article 8 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, entitled "Cecil County," and relating to Port
Deposit, and re-enacting the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. McColgan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act passed
at January session 1852, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Santa Clara Mining Association of Baltimore, repealing a
supplement to said Act passed at January session 1867, au-
thorizing said Association to make and enforce payment of all
calls or assessments upon its capital stock, and re-enacting
the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Stake,

Leave was granted to the Washington county delegation
to report a bill for the protection of birds in Washington
county.
