that each employee shall receive stamps to the amount of five

Mr. Henkle submitted the following amendment:

That the Chief Clerk, Reading Clerk, Journal Clerk and
Sergeant-at-Arms, receive the same amount of stamps allow-
ed to each member of this House, and the other officers five
dollars worth each.

Which was read.

Strike out the word "five," and insert the word "fifteen."

Ordered, That the Secretary of the Senate report to this
Houee the number of blank books and blank forms in rela-
tion to births, marriages and deaths, which he has furnished
to the respective Clerks of the Courts of the different counties
of this State, together with any instruction and explanation
