report a bill amending sections 273 and 274, of Article 11,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Frederick
County."

On motion of Mr. Mackey,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture to
introduce a bill for the protection of insectivorous birds.

On motion of Mr. Waters,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to report
a bill to refund to Joseph Spurrier, Collector of Taxes for
Carroll county, monies over-paid to the State.

On motion of Mr, Glotfelty,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture to
introduce a bill entitled an Act for the better protection of
birds in Garrett county.

On motion of Mr. Freaner,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill to incorporate the Oakland and Youghegany
Rail Road Company.

On motion of Mr. Johnson,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill to repeal and re-
enact chapter 364, Acts of 1870, relating to the taking and
catching of oysters in the waters of this State.

On motion of Mr. Wier,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to authorize and require the Commissioners of
Allegany county to levy to William H. Moore, assignee of
Henry R. Atkinson, the sum of sixty dollars, for services
rendered said Commissioners as clerk to one of the Registrars
of said county.

On motion of Mr. Johnson,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill to repeal chapter
167, of the Acts of 1872, relating to catching of oysters with
rakes and tongs, and obtaining licenses therefor.

On motion of Mr. Pruitt,

Leave was granted to the Worcester delegation to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act giving sanction by the General
Assembly of Maryland to certain legacies bequeathed by the
last will and testament of Susan Benson, late of Worcester
county, deceased, to the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal
Church at Stockton, Worcester county, Maryland.
