On motion of Mr. Leonard,

Leave was granted to the Wicomico and Worcester dele-
gations to introduce a, bill granting the assent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to a device to the Vestry of Spring
Hill Parish, Wicomico county, Maryland, by Benjamin Par-
sons, late of said county; deceased.

On motion of Mr. Bond,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to refund to Francis Neale & Sons, of Baltimore
city, for the benefit of Samuel Cos, Wm . F. Bowling, Syl-
vester Mudd and others, moneys erroneously paid by them to
inspecting of tobacco, in Baltimore city, for outage and
storage.

On motion of Mr. Matthews,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to amend the charter of the Dulany's Valley
and Towsontown Turnpike Company, of Baltimore county.

On motion of Mr. Keech,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill to repeal chapter 59, of the Laws of 1872,
entitled an Act to repeal section 193, of Article 3, Public
Local Laws, title "Baltimore County," sub-titlo, "Sheriff,"
etc., and to re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Vanderford,

Leave was granted the Carroll county delegation to report
a bill entitled an Act to confirm and approve an Act passed
at January session, 1872, chapter 16, entitled an Act to au-
thorize and empower the County Commissioners for Carroll
county to subscribe to the capital stock of Turnpike Compa-
nies of Carroll county.

On motion of Mr. McAleese,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to add a section to Article
14 of the Code of Public General Laws.

On motion of Mr. Gill,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Article 4, sections I,
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entiiled "Aliens," and to re-enact the same so as to read aa
follows.

On motion of Mr, Lamar,
