On motion of Mr. Stewart, of Baltimore City, it was

Ordered, that the Rules of the last House of Delegates be
in force, and until other Rules are adopted.

Mr. Johnson moved that the Rules of the last House be
read.

Which was decided in the affirmative.
Pending the reading of the Rules,

Mr. Koons moved that so much be considered the read-
ing thereof.

Which was decided in the negative.

The Rules were then read

Mr. T. H. Hamilton submitted the following order :

Ordered, that when this House adjourn, it stand adjourned
until to-morrow, Thursday, 12, M.

Which was adopted.
