Ordered, That the Secretary of the Senate advertise to re-
ceive bids to do the printing of the Senate for the present
Session, which shall be addressed to the Secretary of the
Senate in ten days from this date, and opened by him in open
Session; and that until said bids are opened and selection
made, the printing shall be done by Messrs. Iglehart & Co.,
at the usual rates.

Which was read and adopted.

On motion by Mr. Claggett, it was

Ordered, That the State Librarian . procure and furnish to
each Senator, a copy of the Code and Supplements thereto,
and also a copy of the Constitution of 1867, to be returned at
the end of the Session.

Which was adopted.
On motion by Mr. Suit,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, (hereafter to be appointed,) to report a bill to repeal the
law giving the appointments of the County Supervisors of
Prince George's county, to the Judges of the Circuit Court.

On motion by Mr. Claggett,

. Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance, (hereafter
to be appointed,) to introduce a bill, entitled an Act to refund
to Morgan H. Clark, the sum of fifty dollars, for money er-
roneously paid into the Treasury on the 24th January, 1872.

On motion by Mr. Blake,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance, (hereafter
to be appointed,) to prepare and report a bill, to appropriate
a sum of money to pay William Knabe & Co., for a piano
furnished to the Governor's Mansion.

On motion by Mr. Stevens, it was

Ordered, That the Rules of the Senate of 1872, be adopted
for the government of the Senate, until otherwise ordered.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and delivered
the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

January 8th, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message, informing us of the organ-
ization of your Honorable Body.

The House of Delegates has organized by the election of Hon.
