On motion by Mr. Davis,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Davis, Blake and Billings-
ley, to intsoduce a bill to repeal Section 193, of Article III.,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore county,"
sub-title "Sheriff," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

On motion by Mr. Walsh,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance, (hereafter
to be appointed,) to introduce a bill to appropriate a sum of
money to pay Dr. Sam'1 H. Birckhead, Tax Collector for
Harford county, for over payment into the Treasury.
