Ordered, That Senator Aydelotte have leave of absence for
a few days to visit his family, after Friday next.

On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill entitled "An Act to endorse the charter .of the
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Baltimore city."

Also,

Leave to the Committee on Finance to report a bill entitled
"An Act to aid in the establishment of a hospital in connec-
tion with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Balti-
more, and to appropriate money for the same."

On motion by Mr. Getty,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Getty, Aydelotte and Craw-
ford to report a bill to authorize the County Commissioners
of Garrett county to provide for and defray the expenses of
taking the census of said county, if in their judgment they
deem the same to be advisable.

Mr, Aydelotte, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

The House bill entitled "An Act giving the sanction of the
General Assembly of Maryland to the legacy of one hundred
dollars, bequeathed by the last will and testament of Susan
Benson, deceased, late of Worcester county, to the Methodist
Episcopal Chuch at Stockton, Worcester county."

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Steiner, from a Select. Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to establish a Board of Public

Charities."

Which was read the first time and ordered to be printed.

Mr. Longwell, from a Select Committee, reported favora-

bly,

The House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Carroll county, in their discretion, to pay
annually a sum of money, not to exceed three hundred dol-

lars, to defray the expenses of Georgiana Young, a lunatic,

during the time of her lunacy."

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Blake, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,
