Aug. 20.—Amos Hartzman, Officer of Registration 3rd dis-
trict, vice himself, failed to qualify.

Aug. 20.—Samuel B. Preston, Officer of Registration 11th
district, vice himself, failed to qualify.

1873.

Jan'y 6.—Robert G. Bamfort, Sheriff, vice himself, failed to
bond according to law.

On motion by Mr. Claggett,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments agreeably to the nominations.

Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I herewith transmit to you a list of Execiitive appoint-
ments made during the recess of the Legislature for Har-
ford county.

1872.

April 30.—William Meechen, Justice of the Peace 1st dis-
trict, vice John B. Mooney, declined.

Aug. 27.—William G. Burke, Officer of Registration 6th
district, vice Wm. E. Woodhouse, declined.

Oct. 11.—John Bradford, Justice of the Peace 1st district,
vice himself, failed to qualify.

1873.

Aug. 1.—G. W. Hannaway, Officer of Registration 1st dis-
trict, vice A. J. Treadway, resigned.
