I. of the Public Local Laws entitled "Allegany County,"
sub-title "Birds."

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
McCulloch, Lloyd and Walsh.

Mr. Stevens submitted the following message to the House
of Delegates:

BY THE SENATE,

January 27th, 1874.
Gentlemen of the House of Deli-gates :

We have received your message in relation to the election
of Police Commissioners, and respectfully concur therein.

Secretary.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.

On motion by Mr. Steiner, it was

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Senator
Suit was detained from the Senate on Monday by sickness in
his family,

Also,

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Senator
Mudd was absent from his seat yesterday in consequence of
an accident on the railroad.

On motion by Mr. Brewer,
The Senate, at 25 minutes past 3 o'clock, adjourned.
