Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported un-
favorably

The House bill entitled an Act relating to the sale of a por-
tion of the property now belonging to the State, and used in
the weighing of live stock.

Which was adopted.

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed at
the January Session of the General Assembly of Maryland,
1870, chapter 99, entitled an Act to lay off streets in Balti-
more county, adjoining Baltimore city, and to repeal certain
Acts inconsistent therewith,

Being on third reading,

Mr. Stevens submitted the following amendment:

Insert after the word "repealed," at the end of section 7:

"Provided, however, that the provisions of this Act shall
not affect the streets and avenues already laid out and opened
