Resolution in favor of Theodore Mitchell.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the levy court of Piince George's county be and they are
hereby authorised and directed to pay to Theodore Mit-
chell, of Prince George's county, or to his order, one hun-
dred dollars, for Lis services in detecting, securing and
bringing to justice John Whittle, David Whittle, and Ro-
chester Galloway, for receiving stolen goods.

Resolution relative to the plot of the Public Lands, west-
ward of Fort Cumberland.
|
 
|
WHEREAS, at December session, eighteen hundred and
twenty-eight, a resolution was passed authorising the Gov-
ernor and Council to contract for the making of two copies
of the plot of the public lands westward, of Fort Cumber-
land, and for other purposes; AND WHEREAS, in pursuance
of said resolution the said copies of the plot of said lands
has been made out, and the one intended for Allegany coun-
ty in said resolution is now in the Land office of the Wes-
tern Shore, and it is important the same should be forward-
ed to the Clerk's office, of Allegany county — Therefore,
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Governor and Conncil is hereby authorised and requir-
ed to cause to be conveyed and delivered, the aforesaid plot
of the public lands, westward of Fort Cumberland,so soon
as practicable to the clerk of Allegany county as was de-
signed by the original resolution.

|
Resolution in iavor of Louis Gassaway.
|
 
|
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, pay to Louis Gnssa-
way, chief Clerk to the House of Delegates, five dollars,
being the amount paid by him for printing circulars, order-
ing the members of the Legislature to be furnished with
newspapers, during the present session.
