1833 RESOLUTIONS.

day be incurred by any officer in collecting arms under the
preceding resolutions, shall be forwarded to the adjutant
general, and if he shall deem them reasoaable and just, he
shall certify the same to the Treasurer of the Western
Shore, who may, and he is hereby required to pay the same
out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropri-
ated.
 

No. 85.

Passed Mar. 15,1834

Resolution authorising the Governor and Council to con-
tract for the building of a Gun House in the city of An-
napolis.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Governor and Council be and they are hereby authoris-
ed and required to contract for the building of a small gun
house, to be situated in the city of Annapolis: Provided,
the same shall not cost exceeding the sum of five hundred
dollars; and also to contract for and cause to be oiled the
cartridge boxes, belts and such other of the accoutrements
now in the armory at the city of Annapolis as are made of
leather; and they are hereby authorised to draw on the trea-
surer for the cost of the same.
Resolved, That the Treasurer of the Western Shore be
and he is hereby required to pay to the order of the Gover-
nor and Council, out of any unappropriated moneys in the
treasury, the amount necessary to carry into effect the pro-
visions of the foregoing resolution.

Passed Mar.15.

Resolution authorising the Register of the land office for
the Western Shore to issue a patent to Alexander Shaf-
fer.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assembly
that a certain Elizabeth Tusler, on the twenty-seventh day
of November, seventeen hundred and ninety-eight, had
surveyed and laid out for her a tract of land called Eliza-
beth Hill, containing sixty-eight and a fourth acres of land,
and had a certificate of survey thereof returned to the Wes-
