RESOLUTIONS.

1833.

Resolved, That the Treasurer of the Western Shore, be
directed to pay to the order of the Governor, out of any
monies in the Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, such
sum as the Governor may deem necessary to carry into ef-
fect the object of the above resolution.

No. 73.

 

Resolutions relative to the removal of obstructions in
Chester River, in Kent and Queen Anne's counties.

Resolved, That Samuel R. Turner, Edward Coppage,
and John A. Hopper, be, and they are hereby authorised
aad empowered, to act as commissioners to superintend
the removal of obstructions in Chester river, in conjunc-
tion with the survivors of the commissioners appointed for
that purpose, by resolution number seventy two, of Decem-
ber session eighteen hundred and twenty nine,
Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western shore, pay
or cause to be paid to the order of the governor, from time
to time, in such sums as may be drawn for, the sum of
one thousand dollars, the same to be applied by the com-
missioners heretofore and now appointed for that object,
to the removal of obstructions in Chester river, from Sut-
ton's Point, to the town of Millington, agreeably to the pro-
visions of resolution No. seventy two, of December session,
eighteen hundred and twenty nine, and resolution No. for-
ty five, of December session eighteen hundred and thirty
one.

Resolution authorising the governor, to employ the Engi-
neer appointed on the part of the state to en-operate
with Engineers appointed by the states of Virginia and
Delaware, to undertake a survey of the coast from Cape
Charles, to Lewis Town Creek, on the Bay of Dela-
ware.
