1833. RESOLUTIONS.

Dennis Boyd and his securities shall file their assent here-
to in the office of the clerk of Anne Arundel county, on or
before the first day of June next.
 

No. 27.

Passed Mar. 1,1834

Resolution in favor of St. Paul's Chapel free school, in
Charles county.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Orphan's court of Charles county be authorised to
draw upon the Treasurer of the Western Shore for, and
pay over annually to the trustees of St. Paul's Chapel free
school, in Charles county, two hundred dollars out of that
portion of the avails of the free school fund heretofore di-
rected to be invested annually for the benefit of Charles
county: Provided, said Orphans' court shall be satisfied,
before each and every annual payment to the said trustees,
that at least twenty-five poor children of said county were
regularly instructed at said school during the preceding
year.

Resolution in favor of Michael C. Sprigg.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, after he shall have
satisfactorily ascertained by his affidavit or otherwise, the
the number of days in which Michael C. Sprigg, of Alle-
gany county, was engaged as an agent of this state, in re-
presenting its stock in the Chesapeake and Ohio canal
company, be and he is hereby authorised to allow to the
said Michael C. Sprigg four dollars per day, for each day
that he was thus engaged.

Resolution authorising the Governor to draw on the Trea-
surer for such sum as may be necessary to defray the
expenses of the full length likeness of Charles Carroll,
