RESOLUTIONS. 1833

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Governor be and he is hereby authorised to draw upon
the Treasurer of the Western Shore for such sum as may
be necessary to defray the expenses of the full length like-
ness of Charles Carroll of Carrollton, executed by his di-
rection, under authority of a resolution of the last session
of the Legislature.

Resolution in favor of the late Thomas Osbourn, former
sheriff of Prince George's county.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
all proceedings on the judgments obtained by the State of
Maryland against the late Thomas Osbourn, former sheriff
of Prince George's county, and Lis suteties, be and the
same are hereby suspended until the first clay of August,
eighteen hundred and thirty-six: Provided, that nothing
herein contained shall be construed to release the right of
the state to any property, real or personal, which has alrea-
dy been taken in execution, of the said Thomas Osbourn
or his sureties, or to release the lien of the said judgments
upon any real estate of the said Thomas Osbourn or his
sureties: Aid provided also, that this resolution shall not
take effect unless the sureties of the said Thomas Osbourn,
or their executors or administrators shall certify in writing
to the clerk of Prince George's county court, their assent
thereto, on or before the first day of August next: And pro-
vided also, that the representatives of the said Thomas
Osbourn shall, on or before the said first day of August
next, pay to the Treasurer of the Western Shore, the sum
of four hundred and seventy-six dollars .and fifty-one cents,
being a balance of principal due on one of the judgments,
together with all the interest upon all the said judgments,
which has accrued or may accrue to that date.
