RESOLUTIONS.
 

No. 23.

Passed Feb. 21,1834

Resolution in favor of Benjamin L. Gantt, for the use of
Mrs. Elizabeth Scott.

 

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the Western shore, be, and he is hereby
authorised to pay to Benjamin L. Gantt, for the use of
Mrs. Elizabeth Scott, widow of the late Samuel Scott, of
Prince Georges' county, a revolutionary soldier, fourteen
dollars and forty four cents, it being the amount due him
at the time of his death as a pensioner.

Passed Feb,24.

Resolution authorising Capl. Joseph Branson, to take pos-
session of six pieces of Artilery, in the city of Baltimore,
belonging to the State.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Capt' Joseph Branson, commanding a Uniform company,
of Artillery, in the city of Baltimore, be and he is hereby
authorised to take possession of six pieces of Artillery, now
in the city of Baltimore, belonging to the state, and cause
the same to be repaired and put into condition for field ex-
ercise, and when the said repairs shall be completed, he
shall forward a bill of the expenses thereof to the Execu-
tive, who are hereby authorised to draw on the treasurer
of the Western shore, for the amount, and the treasurer is
hereby required to pay the same out of any money in the
treasury, not otherwise appropriated; Provided, the said
Captain Branson, shall give bond with security to be ap-
proved by the Executive, for the safe keeping of said
pieces artillery.

Resolution authorising the Armorer at Annapolis to deli-
ver to Captain Elias Davis, of Washington county, Rifles
and accoutrements.
