RESOLUTIONS

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the Western shore, be, and he hereby is
authorised to sell and transfer upon such terms as he may
deem advantageous, the reserved right of the state, to in-
vest on shares in the capital stock of the Union Bank of
Maryland, and to apply the avails of such sale to the com-
mon uses of the treasury.

Resolution in favor of Elie Dale, for the use of Marshal
Smith, of Worcester county.
|
Passed Feb.19, 1834
|
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the Eastern shore, pay to Elie Dale,
for the use of Marshall Smith, of Worcester county, the
sum of twenty seven dollars and eighty cents, the same
being the amount of composition money paid by the afore-
said Marshall Smith, for a tract of land called Hardluck,
which said tract of land was patented to a certain Littleton
Truit, at a prior date.

Resolution directing the Librarian to furnish two bound
copies of the Index to the Laws of Maryland, from eigh-
teen hundred and eighteen to eighteen and twenty five,
and two copies from eighteen hundred and twenty six
to eighteen hundred and thirty one.
Resolned by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the state Librarian, be, and he is hereby authorised to fur-
nish two bound copies of the Index to the Laws of Mary-
land, from eighteen hundred and eighteen to eighteen hun-
dred and twenty five, and two copies from eighteen hun-
dred and twenty six to eighteen hundred and thirty one.
one copy of each to be deposited in the office of the clerk
of Caroline county, and one copy for the use of the Or-
phans court of said county.
