RESOLUTIONS.
this state, which from time and use has become much worn
and defaced; AND WHEREAS, said book contains grants
of lands for most of the counties of this state;—Therefore,
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Register of the Land Office, for the Western shore, be,
and he is hereby authorised and required to transcribe or
cause to be transcribed, the before mentioned record or such
part thereof as in his judgment may be necessary for the
preservation of the same, and that the governor and coun-
cil, be, and they are hereby authorised to allow him such
compensation therefor, to be paid out of any unappropria-
ted money in the treasury, as he is by law entitled to for
the like services.

Resolution in favor of Ruth Griffith.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the Western shore, pay to Ruth Griffith,
the widow of Samuel Griffith, of Montgomery county, a
revolutionary soldier, or to her order, the amount of pen-
sion due to her husband at the time of his death.

Resolution in favour of Mary Coe.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
treasurer of the Western shore, pay to Mary Coe, the wi-
dow of Willliam Coe, a soldier of the revolution, or to her
order, the sum of twelve dollars and fifty cents, being three
months pay, due to her husband at the time of his death.
