authorised and required to pay to Nathan Alien, of Queen
Anne's .county, or to his order, during life, in quarter yearly
payments, a sum of money equal to the half pay of a pri-
vate, in consideration of the services rendered by him dur-
ing the revolutionary war.

Resolution relative to the Postage of the members of the
Legislature.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore, be, and be is hereby
authotised to liquidate and pay the postage due from mem-
bers of the present session, and required annually hereafter
to liquidate and pay the amount of postage chargeable
against each and every member of the Legislature during
his attendance on the same.

Resolution in iavor of Ann Tredway.
Resolved ly the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the commissioners of Harford county, be, and they are
hereby authorised and required to pay to Ann Tredway,
widow of the late Edward Tredway, formerly crier to
Haifoid county court, or to her order, whatever sum of
money the said commissioners shall adjudge to have been
due to said crier, under the provisions of resolution num-
ber three, passed at December session, eighteen hundred
and thirty one.
