CHAP. 233.

An act to provide for the Education of poor children in
Prince George's county.
|
Passed Mar. 14,1834

WHEREAS, by an act passed at December session, eigh-
teen hundred and thirty, entitled, an act to authorise com-
missioners to divide Prince George's county into school
districts, certain persons were appointed commissioners
for the purposes therein mentioned: AND WHEREAS, the
said commissioners failed to execute the objects for which
they were appointed, Therefore,

Preamble
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That for the purpose of dividing Prince George's
county into school districts, as directed by said act, the levy
court of said county, at their first meeting in May next,
shall appoint three discreet persons from each election dis-
trict in said county, whose duty it shall be to meet in their
respective election districts, on or before the fourth day of
November next, for the purpose of carrying into effect the
second section of said act.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the commissioners so
appointed, or a majority of them, shall meet in Upper
Marlborough, in said county, on the first Monday of De-
cember next, or as soon, thereafter as convenient, to make
a report to the Legislature according to the provisions of
the third section of said act, and shall have power to fill
vacancies, and shall be entitled to the per diem authorised
by said act.

AM act to divorce George Milleman from, his wife Mary
Milleman,
|
Passed Mar. 14,1834
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That George Milleman be and he is hereby divorced from
his wife Mary Milleman, a vinculo matrimonii.
