tobacconist or other person is desirous of shipping or ex-
porting in any other manner said tobacco in its staid con-
ditioa, it shall be lawful for them to do so, upon paying
and satisfying the charges which are paid upon tobacco
which has been inspected and passed previous to shipment,

and the inspectors aforesaid are required to state in the
manifest they shall make out, when such tobacco shall be
shipped, the condition of said tobacco, and that said tobac-
co did not pass inspection previous to its shipment.

An act for the benefit of Thomas W. Morgan, late sheriff of
St. Mary's county.

Be, it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Thomas W. Morgan, late sheriff of St. Mary's county, be
and he is hereby authorised to collect until the first of Jan-
uary, eighteen hundred and thirty-five, all public dues which
were not collected by him during his term of sheriffalty, and
which have not since been collected, in the same manner
as he might or could have done within the time limited by

law: Provided, nothing herein contained shall be construed
to authorise said Thomas W. Morgan to execute the pro-
peity of any person or persons against whom he may have
any claim for public dues, without presenting the said
claim at least thirty days before execution: find Provided,
also, that if any person shall have any account in bar
against any claim of the said Thomas W. Morgan as afore-
said, and shall make oath to the justness of the same, then
the said Morgan is hereby required to admit the same in
bar of any claim as aforesaid.
