An act to authorise and empower the Levy court of Prince
Georges county to levy a sum of money for the purpose cf
bail ding a bridge over the Beaver Dam branch on the road
leading from Bladensburg to Addison's Chapel.

SECTION 1. Be i( enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the levy court of Prince George's county
be and they are hereby authorised and empowered, at their
next annual levy, to levy upon the assessable property of
said county a sum oi money, for the purpose of building a
bridge over the Beaver Dam branch, on the road leading
from Bladensburg to Addison's Chapel.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said levy court be
and they are hereby required to appoint three discreet and
disinterested persons commissioners, to contract for the
building of said bridge on the most reasonable terms,
whose duty it shall be, when they shall have made said
contract, to make a report of their proceedings to the said
levy court.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That, the sum necessary to
build said bridge shall be collected in the same manner
that the county charges of said county are, and be paid to
the said commisssioners, or their order, to be applied to
the building of the aforesaid bridge.

An act entitled, a further supplement to the acts of Assembly,
regulating the Inspection of Tobacco in the city of Balti-
more.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, it shall and
may be lawful for the inspectors of tobacco at the State's
warehouses, in the city of Baltimore, to grant certificates
of the weights of any tobacco that may be hereafter staid
by the said inspectors, at the request and desire of the
owner or agent of such tobacco, which certificate shall state
the condition of said tobacco, and the weights; and where
such tobacco shall be sold by the owner or agent to a ship-
per, tobacconist or other person, and where said shipper,
