An act for the relief of Henry Metsdorff.

Se it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
in the case of Henry Metsdorff, convicted in Baltimore
city court, the court are hereby empowered in their dis-
cretion to dispense with the security required by law, and
to accept of such other security as they may deem proper,

An act for the relief of Nathan Haines .
|

|
WHEREAS, it has been represented to this General As-
sembly, that Nathan Haines did by deed duly executed and
acknowledged, on the fourteenth day of April, eighteen
hundred and thirty-two, convey to a certain Horatio G.
Grieves and James Clarke, half an acre of land, for the pur-
pose of having erected thereon a Primary school, which
has not been used for that purpose, but that the school
house has been built at another place, and the object of the
grantor in the said deed, frustrated — Therefore,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said Horatia G. Grieves and James Clarke, are
hereby authorised and empowered to reconvey to the said
Nathan Haincs, the aforesaid half acre of land, and upon
the same being reconveyed the said Nathan Haines shall
be entitled to hold the, said half acre of land in fee simple,
free and clear of all claim of the Trustees of the said Pri-
mary school.
