CHAP; 199,

Compensation

Sec. 2, And be it enacted, That after the said clerk shall
have performed the duty required of him by this law the
Levy court are hereby authorised to allow him such com-
pensation thereior as they may think him entitled to receive
over and above his other compensation, not exceeding the
sum of fifteen dollars for copying, and publishing five lists,
being one for each Election District.

CHAPTER 198.

Pased.Mar. 13,1834

A Supplement to an act passed at December session, eighteen
hundred and thirty- two, chapter one hundred and nine-
teen.

Right vested

WHEKEAS, the name of John Mowery was omitted in
the act to which this is a supplement — Therefore,
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said John Movvery, be, and he is hereby as fully
entitled to the provisions of said act as if his name was in
the original act to which this is a supplement.

CHAPTER 193.

Passed Mar. 11,1814

An act for the relief of George Caeirns, and Rebecca his
wife, of Harford.

Preamble

WHEREAS, George Caeins and Rebecca his wife, of
Harford County filed their Petition in Harford County
Court, on the nineteenth day of March eighteen hundred
and thirty two, to obtain a partition of certain real estate
therein mentioned, and a commission was issued thereon by
the Court, to William Glenn, Able Alderson, Samuel Reed,
Shadrach Street and William Nelson, as is directed by the
act of Assembly of this State to direct descents; and where-
as said Commissioners made a report thereon, which was
filed in said case on the twenty first day of August eighteen
hundred and thirty two, and the report of the Commission-
ers was ratified by the Court on the sixteenth day of March
eighteen hundred and thirty three; and whereas doubts are
entertained by Harford County Court whether they have
power and authority, as the law now stands to proceed to
