CHAP. 190.

and enjoined upon request made by such justice, to deli-
ver to such justice in his county, making application for
the same, his docket together with all the notes, bonds,
accounts and papers, appertaining to such judgments or
suits thereon, so delivered to said clerk; Provided always,
that such clerk shall in such case receive no fee for deli-
very of the same.

CHAPTER 190.

Failed Mar. 11,1834

A supplement to the act, entitled, an act, to incorporate the
Trustees of Shrewsbury Academy, in Kent county, passed
at December session eighteen hundred and sixteen, chapt.
two hundred and six.

Preamble

WHEREAS, it is represented to this general assembly,
that the privileges and powers granted by the act to which
this is a supplement, may have been lost to the present trus-
tees by an interruption in the appointment of trustees or
otherwise; AND WHEREAS, the present board of trustees
are desirous to have and exercise wit/i certainty the pow-
ers and privileges granted oy the said act of incorporation;
Therefore,

Trustees named
and empewered

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Doct. D. Davis, Henry Hurtt, Gilbert
Chrisfield, G. W. Wilson, Doct. James Heigh, Samuel
W. Woodland and Joseph Ireland, the present board of
trustees of Shrewsbury Academy, in Kent county, and
their successors to be appointed in the manner designated
by the act to which this is a supplement, shall have and
exercise all the powers and privileges conferred by said
act on the original board of trustees and their successors,
in the same manner, to all intents and purposes, as if the
said present board of trustees and their successors had
been expressly named in the said act of incorporation.

May take bond, &c

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said present board
of trustees are hereby empowered to receive a deed of the
land heretofore conveyed to the use of the academy, which
deed shall grant the said land to the said trustees and
their successors, in trust for the use and benefit of the said
academy.
