ihoiised and empowered to hold and enjoy the lands and
premises and real estate heretofore granted and conveyed
to her, and all other lands premises and real estate which
may hereafter be granted and conveyed to her in the same
manner and with the same rights, privileges and advanta-
ges as if she was a regulaily naturalized or native citizen of
this State, with power to grant, convey, and dispose of, and
transmit the same or any part or parts thereof by Deed or
Last Will and Testament or otherwise.

CHAPTER 170.

 

A further additional Supplement to an act entitled, an act
to promote Internal improvement by the construction of a
Rail Road from Baltimore, to the city of Washington,
and for other purposes.

Passed Mar. 7, 1334

SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of
Mart/land, That the President and Directors of the Balti-
more and Ohio Rail Road company, be and they are here-
by authorised, the assent of the Washington and Baltimore
Turnpike Road Company being first had and obtained, to
change the present location of the Washington and Balti-
more Turnpike Road at the places where the Rail Road
between Baltimore and the city of Washington, crosses
the same, to such other and new locations as the said Pre-
sident and Directors may deem best calculated to facilitate
the passage of said Hail Road over the said Turnpike road;
also to obtain possession of the land included in said new

locations, and to construct a stone or gravel turnpike
thereon, and in the same manner that the President and
Managers of the Washington and Baltimore Turnpike
Road Company, might have done, had such new locations
been a part of the original location of said turnpike road;
and the said parts of the said turnpike road, when so con-
structed on the new locations, to be made as aforesaid, and

when the constitution thereof is approved by the President
and Managers of the Wahingotn and Baltimore Turn-
pike Road company, shall be taken und used as a part of
the Washington and Baltimore Turnpike Road, the said
