CHAPTER 579.

AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local
|
 
|
Laws of Maryland, entitled "Charles County," sub-title
|
 
|
"Sheriff," to come in after Section 171, to be designated
|
 
|
as Section 171A.
|
 
|
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
Sheriff of
Charles
|
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
|
County.
|
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Charles
|
 
|
County," sub-title "Sheriff," to come in after Section 171, to
|
 
|
be designated as Section 171 A, and to read as follows:
|
 
|
171 A. The Sheriff of Charles County, before he acts as such,
|

shall give bond to the State of Maryland in the penalty of ten
|
bond.
|
thousand dollars, and not more than ten thousand dollars, with
|
 
|
security to be approved by two Judges of the Orphans' Court
|
 
|
or one of the Judges of the Circuit Court for said county, to
|
 
|
be conditioned as now provided by Section 2 of Article 87 of
|
 
|
the Code of Public General Laws of this State, and to be sub-
|
 
|
ject to the same provisions as now provided in said Article for
|
 
|
failure to give and offer for record such bond prior to the first
|
 
|
day of January.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts
|
 
|
inconsistent with this Act be and the same are hereby re-
|
 
|
pealed, and this Act shall take effect from and after the date
|
 
|
of its passage.
