and pay the sum of twenty dollars, and on failure to pay

said fine and State costs, he or they shall be committed to the
|
 
|
jail of Frederick County for the period of sixty days. If
|
 
|
said fine is paid, the one-half shall be paid to the informer
|
 
|
whether he be an officer or some other person, and the other
|
 
|
half to the County Commissioners of Frederick County for the
|
 
|
benefit of the public roads of said county.
|
 
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That said violation of this Act
|

jurisdiction to hear and determine the same.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 8

of Article 41 of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-

land, entitled "Governor."

SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|

is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

8. The Governor may remit the whole or any part of any
