CHAPTER 550.

AN ACT to regulate the holding of camp and bush meetings
|
 
|
in Anne Arundel County.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
land, That it shall not be lawful for any society, public or pri-
|

from the County Commissioners, and the said County Commis-

sioners in their discretion may, on application, extend the time

for such meeting as in their judgment they may deem expedi-
|

ent in additional to the term by this Act prescribed; for any
|
 
|
violation of this the president or directors of said society,
|
 
|
public or private, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
|
 
|
and upon conviction before a justice of the peace, such presi-
|
 
|
dent or directors shall be fined for each offense not less than
|
 
|
twenty-five dollars nor more than fifty dollars and costs, and
|

to the county jail for a period of sixty days, unless sooner
|
 
|
released by due process of law.

|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 551.
|
 
|
AN ACT to prohibit hunting with a gun or rifle in Frederick
|
 
|
County from the tenth day of October to the first day of
|
 
|
November in each year or on election day.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
land, That it shall not be lawful for anyone to hunt with a
|
