SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the board shall appoint

hundred dollars in any one year, as may be agreed upon by

the board. The secretary shall also be allowed the reasonable

and his reasonable traveling expenses in attending to his duties ;

provided, that in no case shall the total expenditure of the

board and its secretary exceed the amount appropriated to it
|

each year. The said board shall have the power to dis-
|
 
|
charge or remove its secretary at any time by a majority
|
 
|
vote of all its members.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of the

be imposed upon him by these committees.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That the sum of three thousand

penses made necessary by this Act, and the Treasurer of the

State shall, upon warrant of the Comptroller of the Treasury,

pay the said sums of money herein appropriated for the ob-

jects and purposes hereinbefore specified to or upon the order
|
 
|
of the president of said board.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
|
 
|
from the date of its passage.
