SECTION . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
land, That the Mayor and Council of Salisbury, Wicomico

to issue bonds to be designated "Street Improvement Bonds,"

not exceeding ten thousand dollars in the aggregate, on the
|
 
|
faith and credit of said city, for the purpose of aiding in the
|
 
|
grading, paving or macadamizing East Camden avenue, Dock
|
 
|
street, Main street, East and West Church streets and North
|
 
|
and South Division streets, in the said town, or so much thereof
|
 
|
as they may deem advisable, under the provisions of Chapter
|
 
|
352, Acts of 1902.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That if the said bonds are issued
|
 
|
they shall be issued for not less than one hundred dollars or
|

multiples thereof, bearing interest at the rate not exceeding

annually.

by the Mayor and countersigned by the clerk to the Council,

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That when the said bonds are is-

one to twenty years, that is to say : the sum of five hundred

dollars of the said bonds to be paid each year, and the interest
|
 
|
on the whole sum to be paid annually, and they shall be num-
|
 
|
bered and redeemed as numbered, beginning with No. 7;

and the said Mayor and Council shall levy a special tax an-
|
 
|
nually sufficient to pay the principal and interest on the said
|
 
|
bonds as they shall fall due from time to time, and the taxes so
|
 
|
levied shall be kept as a fund to be used only for the payment
|
 
|
of the said principal and interest.
|
 
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the said bonds shall be ex-

Public Local Laws, title "Frederick County," sub-title

"Treasurer," to immediately follow Section 451 A, to be
|
 
|
designated Section 451AA, relating to the appointment and
|
 
|
compensation of a clerk to the County Treasurer.
