CHAPTER 480.

 

AN ACT to refund to Robert H. Simpson, executor of the es-

 

tate of Anthony J. Kelly, deceased, fifteen dollars, being a

 

sum of money erroneously paid as collateral inheritance tax

 

by him to Stephen R. Mason, Register of Wills of Baltimore

 

City, on the estate of Anthony J. Kelly, deceased, on which

 

no collateral inheritance tax was due, and which sum of

 

money was conveyed into the Treasury by said Register of

 

Wills.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is hereby

heritance tax.

authorized and directed to draw his warrant on the Treasurer

 

of the State of Maryland for the sum of fifteen dollars in favor

 

of the said Robert H. Simpson, executor of the estate of An-

 

thony J. Kelly, deceased, being his claim for collateral in-

 

heritance tax erroneously paid by him on the estate of Anthony

 

J. Kelly, deceased, and by said Register of Wills conveyed into

 

the Treasury.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 481.

 

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 416 of the Acts of the General As-

 

sembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session, 1902,

 

entitled "An Act to empower and require the Board of

 

County Commissioners of Frederick County, Maryland, to

 

provide for free scholarships to students of Frederick County

 

in the Buckeystown Normal School in said county."

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That Chapter 416 of the Acts of the General Assembly
