CHAPTER 475.

AN ACT to repeal Section 40 of Article 11 of the Code of
|
 
|
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County,"
|
 
|
sub-title "Birds and Game," as enacted by Chapters 550 and
|
 
|
587 of the Acts of 1900, and Section 43 of said Article n
|
 
|
as enacted by Chapter 303 of the Acts of 1872, and to re-
|
 
|
enact the same with amendments.
|
 
|
SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
"Birds and
|
land, That Section 40 of Article 11 of the Code of Public
|
Game."
|
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County," sub-title

"Birds and Game," as enacted by Chapters 550 and 587 of
|
 
|
the Acts of 1900, and Section 43 of Article 11 as enacted by
|
 
|
Chapter 303 of the Act of 1872, be and the same are hereby
|
 
|
repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :
|
 
|
40. It shall be lawful to shoot or kill pheasants, partridges
|

and rabbits in Frederick County only from the first day of

closed sea-
sons.

November to the twenty-fourth day of December of each year,
|
 
|
save and excepting on election clay in November and the
|
 
|
Sabbath day, on which days it shall not be lawful to shoot

or kill said birds and rabbits; and it shall not be lawful to
|
 
|
shoot or kill in Frederick County pheasants, partridges and
|
 
|
rabbits during any other time or days of the year, anyone
|
 
|
violating any of the provisions of this law shall be prosecuted
|
 
|
in the name of the State of Maryland before any justice of the
|
 
|
peace of Frederick County, and the several justices of the
|
 
|
peace of Frederick County shall have jurisdiction of offences
|
 
|
against this law, and on conviction, such persons shall be
|

fined twenty dollars for each offence, the one-half of said fine
