AN ACT for the creation of a Tuberculosis Commission.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
land, That the Governor of the State be and he is hereby au-

tion and causes of human tuberculosis in the State of Maryland,

to determine its relations to the public health and welfare, and
|
 
|
to devise ways and means for restricting and controlling said
|
 
|
disease, and to investigate and report upon the proper con-
|
 
|
struction, cost, equipment, maintenance and location of a san-
|
 
|
atorium for the treatment of tuberculosis.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the members of said com-
|
 
|
mission shall serve without pay, except expenses actually in-
curred, and shall continue in office for a term of two years from
