Disposing of

WHEREAS, It will be of great assistance to the owners of said

 

refuse to secure some means of getting rid and disposing of the

 

same ; and,

Oyster beds.

WHEREAS, It will be of great benefit to the oyster beds in the

 

Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries to be supplied with a suit-

 

able substitute for oyster shells, for which purpose the material

 

aforesaid may be obtained at a lower cost than oyster shells ;

 

therefore,

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That for the purpose of carrying

 

out the provisions aforesaid, the Board of Public Works be and

 

it is hereby authorized to employ the oyster navy and other

 

competent persons, if necessary, to assist, supervise and desig-

 

nate the places in the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries where

 

the material aforesaid shall be deposited in such manner as will

 

be of the greatest service to the natural oyster beds in the pro-

 

duction of a greater quantity of oysters on said natural beds,

 

provided, the same be done without expense to State.

 

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 416.

 

AN ACT to amend and extend the charter of the Caroline

 

County Savings Bank, Caroline County, Maryland, and to

 

change the name of the same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

corporation

land, That the Act of incorporation of the Caroline County Sav-

 

ings Bank, a corporation formed under the provisions of the

 

Code of Public General Laws of this State, title "Corporation,"

 

as amended and enlarged by the Acts of the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, January Session, 1902, Chapter 128, be and the

 

same is hereby amended as follows :

The Caroline
County

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the name of the Caroline

Bank.

County Savings Bank be and the same is hereby changed from

 

"Caroline County Savings Bank" to "The Caroline County

 

Bank," and by such name and style shall have perpetual suc-

 

cession, to sue and be sued, to plead and be impleaded in any

 

court whatever, to make and use a common seal and to alter

 

and renew the same at pleasure.

 

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from

 

the date of its passage.
