SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
New sections.
|
hind, That certain new sections be and the same are hereby
|

added to Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
|
 
|
"Dorchester County," sub-title "Fish," to follow Section 186 of
|
 
|
said Article, to be designated as Sections 186A, 186B and 186C ;
|
 
|
and that certain new sections be and the same are herebv added
|
 
|
to Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Talbot
|
 
|
County," sub-title "Fish," to follow Section 116 of said Article.
|
 
|
to be designated as Sections 116 A, 116B and 116C; and that
|
 
|
certain new sections be and the same are hereby added to Ar-
|
 
|
ticle 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Caroline
|
 
|
County," sub-title "Fish," to follow Section 116 of said Article
|
 
|
to be designated as Sections 146A, 146B and 146C. which said
|
 
|
sections so added are as follows :
|
 
|
186A, 146A, 146A. No person or persons shall catch, or in
|

any manner take or kill in any of the waters of Dorchester, Tal-

in any of said counties, any white perch under seven inches in
|
 
|
length, any yellow perch under eight inches in length, any rock

or bass under eleven inches in length, any taylor under ten

inches in length, any pike under fourteen inches in length, am
|
 
|
black bass under nine inches in length, except when caught for
|
 
|
private use and not for sale, with rod. hook and line, or hook am
|
 
|
line baited with natural bait or tied with the artificial fly, or with
|
 
|
spoon or spinner. The measurement to be used in ascertaining.
|
 
|
the length of the fish aforesaid shall be from the tip of the nose
|
 
|
to the end of the caudal fin or tail. Any person or persons vio
|
 
|
lating the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a
|
 
|
misdemeanor, and. upon conviction thereof, be fined five dol-
|

or found in his or their possession, with costs of prosecution
|

and to stand committed until such fine and costs are paid.

meanor, and, upon conviction thereof, be fined fifty dollars
|
 
|
for each fish so unlawfully caught, taken, or killed, or
|
 
|
found in his or their possession, with costs of prosecution, and
|
 
|
to stand committed until such fine and costs are paid.

186C, 116C, 146C. All fines under this Act are payable one
|

half to the informer and one-half to the school fund of the re-
|
 
|
spective counties, except as provided for in Section 8 of Chap
|
 
|
ter 2.93, Act of 1896.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
|
 
|
the date of its passage.
|
