Baltimore, Howard and Anne Arundel Counties, such lands

 

or properties as may be necessary for the purposes' of such

 

extension ; to develop and improve the same for park pur-

 

poses, without regard to the provisions of Section 840 of

 

Article 4, entitled "City of Baltimore,' of the Code of Public

 

Local Laws of Maryland, as amended by Chapter 453 of the

 

Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, approved April

 

8, 1902.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Genera! Assembly of Mary-

mates, prescribe; but said stock shall not be issued in whole

 

or in part unless the ordinance of the Mayor and City Council

 

of Baltimore providing for the issuance thereof shall be sub-

 

mitted to the legal voters of the City of Baltimore at such

aforesaid, or any part or parts thereof ; and when and so often

 

as resort shall be had to condemnation proceedings, the pro-

 

cedure shall be that marked out by Sections 248 to 253, in-
