SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|
|
land, That Article 22 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland,
|
|
|
title "Washington County," sub-title "Williamsport," be and
|
Williamsport,

the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Sections 41 A
|
County, Md.
|
|
and 411 B, to follow Section 411 of the Acts of the General
|
|
|
Assembly of Maryland, Chapter 17, and approved February 25,
|
|
|
1904, being an Act repealing and re-enacting the charter of
|
|
|
Williamsport.
|
|
|
411 A. The Burgess and Commissioners of Williamsport are
|
|
|
hereby authorized and empowered to contract with any person,
|

persons or corporation for the lighting of the streets, alleys and
|
streets, etc.

|
public places of said town, and to provide for the payment

|

of such lighting.

411B. The Burgess and Commissioners of Williamsport are

so as to read as follows :

156. All male citizens of Maryland above the age of twenty-
|
|
|
one years, who shall be citizens of the United States and who
|
|
