CHAPTER 313.

AN ACT to extend an Act entitled "An Act to incorporate

the Maryland Petroleum Mining and Manufacturing Com-

pany of Allegany County,'' passed at the January Session

of 1865, Chapter 188, for the period of forty years.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the Act entitled "An Act to incorporate the Mary-

gany County," passed at January Session, 1865, Chapter 188,

be and the same is hereby continued in full force and effect

for a period of forty years from the 24th day of March, in the

year 1905, and until the end of the next session of the Gen-

eral Assembly of Maryland which shall happen next there-

after.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to increase the number of the trustees of the St.

Mary's Female Seminary in St. Mary's County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the number of trustees of the St. Mary's Female

stituted) by giving a representation on said board to each of

the religious denominations in St. Mary's County as far as

practicable; said additional trustee to be selected by the said

board of trustees as are now selected and appointed in cases

of vacancies existing in said board.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

from the date of its passage.
