SEC. 19. And be it enacted, That the County Commissioners
|
|
Appropriation

of Dorchester County shall annually appropriate and pay to
|
|
 
|
the said Commissioners of the town of Vienna the sum of
|
|
 
|
fifty dollars for the use of the streets of said town.
|
|
 
|
SEC. 20. And be it enacted, That all fines be imposed by
|
|

any justice of the peace upon any person for using indecent
|
|
guage on the
streets.

or profane language upon the streets of the said town; such
|
|
 
|
fine, when collected, shall be paid over to the Town Commission-
|
|
 
|
ers of the said town of Vienna ; the Town Commissioners of the
|
|
 
|
said town shall annually, on the first Monday of May in each
|
|
 
|
and every year, make out an itemized statement of all money
|
|
 
|
received and expended during the preceding year, and shall
|
|
 
|
post a copy of said statement in three conspicuous places in said
|
|
 
|
town.

CHAPTER 312.

AN ACT to continue and extend to the purchaser of the prop-

|
 
|
erty of the Queen Anne's Railroad Company all the fran-
|
|
 
|
chises, privileges and exemptions now enjoyed by said rail-
|
|
 
|
road company, subject, however, to the conditions, restric-
|
|
 
|
tions and limitations upon the same
|
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|

land, That the purchaser of the property and franchises of the
|

Queen Anne's Railroad Company, heretofore incorporated by

R. R. Co.

the laws of this State, and of the State of Delaware, at any
|

judicial sale, or sale under decree of any court of this State
|
|
 
|
or of the State of Delaware, or of the United States, whether
|
|
 
|
such purchaser be a corporate body or a person or persons
|
|
 
|
who shall be or become incorporated by virtue of the pro-
|
|
 
|
visions of the laws of this State or of the State of Delaware,
|
|
 
|
shall have and enjoy the same franchises, privileges and ex-
|
|
 
|
emptions from taxation which are now held and enjoyed by
|
|
 
|
the said Queen Anne's Railroad Company under the several
|
|
 
|
Acts of Assembly of this State having relation thereto, sub-
|
|
 
|
ject, however, to the conditions, limitations and restrictions
|
|
 
|
now attached by law to said privileges and exemptions, and
|
|

purchase of the property of said railroad company by any

of the railroad companies now operating railways upon the

Eastern Shore of Maryland, or the combination or consolida-
