year by the adult male citizens of the said town who shall have

resided therein for six months, and who shall also be citizens

of the United States; and the said Town Commissioners shall

serve without compensation, either direct or indirect.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the Commissioners of said

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That they may meet together,

as the Town Hall, as often as occasion may require upon the

business of said town, but not less than once in every three

months ; and if, during the year for which they may be elected,

the said town, refuse to act, or be otherwise disqualified, an
|

election to fill such vacancy shall be held, at which all per-

sons as specified in Section I shall be entitled to vote.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the metes and bounds of the
