and if any road supervisor shall wilfully fail to file either

of sudden flood or by reason of accident or other emergency,

to work upon the roads of his district alone, or to repair

bridges, without the assistance of persons liable to road service

and regularly summoned such road supervisor shall be entitled

as his full compensation for services thus rendered, to the
|
|

sum of one dollar and twenty-five cents per day, for each and
|
|

every day of eight hours each in which he may be actually so
|

employed and if under any circumstances any road supervisor
|
|
 
|
shall find it necessary to furnish a horse and wagon or cart.
