SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the said County Commissioners of Washington

County be and they are hereby authorized, empowered and

directed to refund and pay over to Mrs. Clara Hamilton, of
|
|
|
said county, the sum of thirty dollars, being money which the
|
|
|
said Mrs. Clara Hamilton paid to the said County Commis-
|
|
|
sioners of Washington County for county taxes on property
|
|
|
erroneously assessed to her by the said County Commissioners
|
|
|
for the year 1901.
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
|
|
|
from the date of its passage.
|
|
|

CHAPTER 30.
|
|
|
AN ACT to repeal Sections 233 and 235 of Article 20 of the
|
|
|
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Somerset County, " sub-
|
|
|
title "Roads, " and to re-enact said sections so as to read
|
|
|
as follows:
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|
|
land, That Sections 233 and 235 of Article 20 of the Code of
|
|
|
Public Local Laws, title "Somerset County, " sub-title "Roads, "
|
|
|
be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to
|
|
|
read as follows:
|
|
|
233. That each supervisor shall make a full report to the
|
|
|
County Commissioners on blanks to be furnished by said
|
Supervisors of
|
|
Commissioners on the first day of June in each and every
|
roads to make
semi-annual
|
|
year, setting forth in such report the names and color of all
|
reports.
|
|
able bodied persons residing in his district between the ages
|
|
|
of twenty-one and fifty-five years, and compellable under the
|
|
|
law to labor on roads in his district; and each supervisor
|
|
|
shall also make reports to the County Commissioners on the
|
|
|
first day of June, and the first day of December in each and
|
|
|
every year, in which reports they shall state on blanks, to be
|
|
|
furnished by the County Commissioners the times and places
|
|
|
of all work done, the names and color of persons summoned
|
|
|
and the time made by himself and each person at work on each
|
|
|
occasion, the money received by him for all purposes from all
|
|
|
sources, disbursements he has made, and on what account,
|
|
|
and any other matter touching the road service in his district;
