SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That the box in which the names shall be placed and which

Maryland, but it shall be a box of the length of about thirty

 

inches, width of about eight inches and depth of about five

 

inches, to be provided by the Clerk of the Circuit Court for

 

Queen Anne's County, under the direction of the judge or

 

judges thereof, and said box shall have its length divided into

 

seven equal compartments or drawers, extending in length

 

about the width of said box, which shall be numbered to cor-

 

respond with the numbers of the respective election districts

 

of said county, and all other laws inconsistent herewith are

 

hereby repealed.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 304.

 

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 627 of the Acts of 1902 and to

 

re-enact the same so as to read as follows :

 

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That Chapter 627 of the Acts of 1902 be and the same is

 

hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

 

45A. The County Commissioners of Howard County may

 

receive sealed proposals for all printing and advertisements

officers of registration. But should there be no bid for said

 

printing and advertisements, or should the County Commis-

 

sioners reject any or all of said bids, which power is hereby

 

specially given them, then the County Commissioners may

 

apportion the printing to such paper or papers published in
