AN ACT for the improvement of the public highways of the

State and to provide the means therefor, and to require the
|

commission created by an Act of the General Assembly of
|
 
|
1896, Chapter 51, to perform certain additional duties.

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

in such county, to be built or improved under the provisions of

this Act, such Board shall notify the commission so created

by an Act of the General Assembly of 1896, Chapter 51, by
|
 
|
written notice to the chief engineer of said commission, on or
|
 
|
before the first day of March in each year, and shall request
|
 
|
of said commission plans and specifications and an estimate of
|
 
|
the cost of the proper performance of said work according
|
 
|
to said plans and specifications.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That whenever the owners of
|
 
|
two-thirds of the lands binding upon any public road or sec-
